There are two SQA Modules available in video production:

  • Video Skills: Presentation & Production
  • Video: Basic Linear Editing Techniques

Video Skills: Presentation & Production

This is an introductory course designed for students with no previous knowledge or experience of video, The course involves learning about the different video formats, video cameras, video recorders and the use of computers in video titling. By the end of the course, students will have produced and documented their own video film.

Video: Basic Linear Editing Techniques

There is a more advanced course which builds on the introductory course above. The main focus is on the editing of previously recorded material. Anyone who has completed the introductory module in S5 will benefit from taking this module. The emphasis is on the use of an editing suite and computers for video titling.
