CRAFT AND DESIGN Why Craft and Design? A course in Craft and Design will help you develop creative, practical and organisational skills, which you can use in a wide range of careers. These skills are also very useful for doing work around the house and for many hobbies. You have scope for original work in this course and have the opportunity to work with a variety of tools and materials. and Design The main aim of the course is to develop your ability to solve practical problems using the Design Process. Tasks involved in this process are: · Identifying what is to be made Following the Design Process, you then proceed to make the item and finally, judge how successful your work has been. Core Skills
